About Sortlark
Updated 2 Nov 2026.
Sortlark covers the kit that keeps trucks moving, routes tight and stock counted. Three areas only. Fleet management, route planning and delivery, and warehouse and procurement. If a tool does not touch one of those jobs, it does not get a page here.
This site is for fleet managers, dispatchers, small carriers and warehouse leads. People who check stops per route, devices per truck, pallets on the floor and temperatures in the cold room before they check a dashboard chart. We write for the shift, not for the boardroom.
We compare tools by what they cost, what they do on a normal day, and where they fall short. Prices come from vendor pricing pages. Contract terms come from vendor terms and pricing fine print. Where a vendor hides the price, we say Quote only and link to the vendor page that asks for a quote. We do not guess a price and we do not present a sales estimate as a list price.
Every article carries the byline Sortlark Editorial Team. No person names appear on this site. No editor-in-chief is named. The team checks vendor docs, pricing pages, changelogs, public reviews and published benchmarks. We say we reviewed or we compared. We do not run our own product tests. Our comparisons are researched comparisons. That distinction is stated on each list page and explained in our scoring method.
How we are funded: sponsored placements are labelled Sponsored. A sponsored box does not change a rank, a pick or a score. Paid status never decides order. Affiliate links, if any are used, are marked and explained in our disclosure page. Money pages are re-checked every 45 days. Corrections are fixed in the open, with the date and the change noted where the error sat.
What we do not cover: field service software and freight finance, including freight factoring. Those jobs need their own checks, their own terms and their own risks. We leave them out rather than stretch a fleet checklist to fit them.
Use the site like a handover note. Read the direct answer first. Check the table. Read the cons. Check the price and the date it was checked. Then call the vendor and confirm the quote for your truck count, your stop count and your pallet count before you sign.
