Disclosure

Read this before you act on a pick. Sortlark may earn money from sponsored placements. Sponsored placements are labelled Sponsored. A sponsored box is paid placement. It is not an editorial pick. It never changes our ranking, our criteria or our verdicts. Editorial order is ours alone. Paid status never decides rank.
Some links on this site may be affiliate links. An affiliate link means we may earn a commission if you click it and buy, at no extra cost to you. Where an affiliate link is used, it is marked. In link code, affiliate links carry rel="sponsored". In text, a sponsored placement carries the word Sponsored where you can see it before you click. If you are unsure whether a link is paid, treat the disclosure line at the top of the article as the guide: it states that we may earn from sponsored placements and that they never change our ranking.
We do not take payment for a higher rank, a better verdict or a softer con. A vendor cannot pay to remove a real con. A vendor cannot pay to add a feature claim that vendor docs do not support. If a vendor pays for placement, the placement is labelled and kept apart from the comparison table and the product sections.
Prices are checked against vendor pricing pages on the date shown. Prices change. A price in an article is a checked price on that date, not a promise that the vendor will hold it. Confirm the price, the plan limit, the contract length and any activation, hardware or SMS fees in writing before you sign.
This wording follows plain Federal Trade Commission style guidance for clear disclosure: say what is paid, say it where the reader sees it, and keep paid material apart from editorial picks. If you think a label is missing or unclear, contact us and point to the page and the link. We will check it and fix the label.
